The book was originally released in the late eighties, so it has a smidgen of crazysauce in it. Have you read this one?

The Devil’s Necklace by Kat Martin is $2.99! This is book two in the Necklace historical romance trilogy. This is another romance with kidnapping, so buckle up. However, this one takes place on the high seas. Readers loved the enemies to lovers plot, but some felt the writing (mainly the use of excessive line breaks) a little jarring. It has a 3.8-star rating on Goodreads.
